In an online article titled What Do We Know So Far About This Pilot Who Crashed a Plane Into a Building in Austin?, NY Magazine states, “… a lot of his rhetoric could have been taken directly from a handwritten sign at a tea party rally.”
Strangely, while they quote several paragraphs from Stack’s suicide note, they leave off his last two sentences:
The communist creed: From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.
The capitalist creed: From each according to his gullibility, to each according to his greed.
NewsBusters covers this and attempts by Time, MSNBC, and the Washington Post to link Stack to the Tea Party movement.
